Came across this (a valentine card made from one of my posters) whist randomly trawling the Internet... avoiding what I really should be doing....
It's on Beth Murray's Blog, I'm really happy that the 10 trial fly posters I put up didn't amount to nothing!!
The whole point of this project is to reach out to everyone who lives in the city with a message that would make them smile, make them think differently about their existence in this sometimes overwhelming environment, realising that there is beauty in what could seem oppressive and run down, and most of all, that we are collectively in control, as we made, and continue to make this city, and without us it would be nothing. I've been umming and ahhing about continuing to fly post- I thought perhaps it was a waste of time as a week later the 10 I did had been pulled down... But now I'm reconsidering....
